FAQ's

• What is an Evergreen Donation:

  An Evergreen Donation takes your employee giving (payroll deductions and billing) from last year’s annual campaign and automatically rolls it over to this year’s campaign including gift amount, type of pledge and any designations, unless you specifiy any changes.  Any gifts that were made via cash, check or credit card are not eligible for rollover and would need to be made by you as a new gift. You have the option to make changes to your gifts based on your personal situation at any time.

• What is an Allocation:

  Allocations, or designations, direct your giving to specific funds or charities. You may allocate, or designate, all or part of your gift to United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley, to specific focus areas (Education, Healthy Aging, Community Stability or the Fund for Racial Justice and Equity) and/or to a qualified tax-exempt organization under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code that supports health or human service initiatives.
