St. Luke’s 2020 United Way Campaign
Today, we’re living in a new reality. The world is different and still changing. All our lives have been affected and we continue to be busier than ever.
We understand that everyone’s situation is unique, and this year’s United Way campaign may look different to meet your needs while still offering support to those who are most vulnerable in our communities.
To make donating to the United Way even easier this year, St. Luke’s is offering employees the option of an Evergreen donation renewal in 2020.
What is the Evergreen Option?
With the Evergreen option, your 2019 donation is automatically renewed for 2020. This convenience is available to employees who made their donations by payroll deduction or were billed last year. The automatic renewal includes gift amount, payment schedule, and designated recipient organizations.
Please note that gifts made in 2019 by credit card, check or cash are not eligible for the Evergreen renewal option. You must use the St. Luke’s campaign portal to enter your 2020 gift.
Many Lehigh Valley organizations and companies having been offering the Evergreen option to make donating easier for their employees.
What if I don’t want my 2019 donation to automatically renew in 2020?
You can always make your 2020 United Way donation the way you have in the past: by accessing the St. Luke’s United Way Campaign portal. Through the portal, you can increase or decrease your gift based on your current personal situation and update the organizations or initiatives you want your gift to support. Paper donation forms can also be requested by sending an email to Suzanne.Irvine@sluhn.org.
The impact of your United Way donation
When our community felt the impact of this year’s health and economic crisis, businesses and individuals came together to act. United, we helped thousands of families put food on their tables and keep roofs over their heads. We helped seniors stay healthy and connected. And we worked together to keep our kids safe and supported, so that they can succeed whether they’re in the classroom or learning at home. Thousands of families and individuals in the greater Lehigh Valley region still need your support, so they can start to recover and then rebuild their lives.
